The design, development and implementation of the “Integrated Financial Management System” for the Government of Sikkim, India is an e-Governance project funded by the Government of India, by which the Department of Information Technology, Government of Sikkim had taken up the computerization of the financial functions of the State Government in phases. The software solution is a centralized web application integrating the various functions of the Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department, Government of Sikkim like Budget section, Pay & Accounts Offices, Pension section, Group Insurance section etc.

The State Government of Sikkim Employees’ and Pensioners Data Management System monitors and accurately computes the number of employees and aggregate payments towards them at present and future. The system enables to assess accurately the number of employees, financial implications in respect of these workers and to project its liability on account of salary and pensions into the future so as to effectively plan to restrain it and commit expenditure towards development outlays. The Data Management System provides to collate all employment related data for various analytical purposes.

This project, for the design and development of the Business Automation Software Package, is for a leading Industrial Laboratory based, Doha, Qatar. The Industrial Laboratory is a leading test house, mainly for construction materials in the State of Qatar. The Business Automation Application has various modules for the management of tests (Sales), Purchase, Billing, HR & Payroll etc.

This desktop application was designed and developed as the back-office accounting system for a Municipal Corporation. The application has various modules for the Budgeting, Revenue Collections Management, Expenditure Management and General Accounting. The various modules in the package help the Municipal Corporation for the management of the demand & collection of its taxes & other revenues, manage the Government grants, Loans & Advances, Employee Payroll, budget v/s actual analysis etc. The financial statements of the ULB viz. Balance Sheet, P/L statement etc could be generated from the system.

This Inventory Tracking System was designed and developed for a multinational company for the tracking of goods movement in and out of their warehouse. The package has two components – one is a desktop application and the other one a Windows CE – based application running in a handheld device. These two applications are linked by a synchronization utility, with which the databases of the two component applications are synchronized at intervals.

This Business Automation Package for a distributor and retailer of India’s leading furniture brand is a customized version of Katalizzpro Business Automation Solution. The various modules covers the distribution and franchisee business of the company including Purchase, Inventory, Sales, HR & Payroll, Accounts etc.
Project Type: Turnkey Project – Banking Automation
State Bank of Sikkim functions as the treasury of the Government of Sikkim apart from the normal functions as a Bank. It handles all the revenue collections of the State Government like taxes, electricity charges etc. It also makes all the payments on behalf of the Government to the contractors, employee salaries etc. This necessitates reporting to the Government on a daily basis regarding the cash position and other details regarding collections and payments.
A centralized solution was not the ideal solution considering the difficult terrain and the inconsistencies in the network connectivity. HKIL has implemented the Banking solution with a separate module for handling the Government business in this Bank in phases. The branches then were linked through a software switch-based solution over BSNL Leased lines. After this solution was implemented, the Bank started providing Any Branch Banking options to it’s Banking customers and the reports to the Government departments were possible to be made on time with reliable data. ATMs were also linked with the network to provide automated teller facilities to SBS customers.
